Grants in this round are for in-kind support for the supply of trees only. No financial support is provided.

Goals of this grant round:

  • To provide trees from the FNPW Bushfire Recovery Nurseries for restoration activities in and around the 2019/2020 bushfire impacted areas.

TO BE ELIGIBILE:

1. Applicants may be eligible to apply for the grant if they are:

  • Community-based groups or organisations, or
  • Individuals who can show experience with large scale plantings and project management, or
  • Australian organisations with an ABN, or
  • National Parks and Wildlife Services or other Government agencies working with state NPWS

2. You must be implementing bushfire restoration works in one of the Local Government Areas (LGA's) listed by State or Commonwealth Government.

3. You must have a completed species list order form from one of the following FNPW Bushfire Recovery Nurseries:

  • Hawkesbury Community Nursery (NSW)
  • Friends of the Koala (East Lismore -NSW)
  • Greening Australia Nursery (ACT)

4. Applicants will need to supply the following information:

  • a completed species list order form from their selected supplier nursery
  • an ABN or a Statement of Supplier form (linked form is in this application)
  • evidence of current insurance status - public liability and/or professional indemnity
  • a copy of a risk assessment form which includes COVID-19 mitigation strategies
  • dates of planting

Priority will be given to projects and organisations that undertake work in or around national parks or state managed conservation areas

I confirm that the applicant ...

  • has read and understands the program guidelines¬†
  • has a completed a species list order form from one of the FNPW bushfire recovery nurseries above
  • understands that the applicant is responsible for collection of the plants ordered.
  • understands this grant is for trees only with no financial support from FNPW
  • does not owe any reports or money to FNPW as a result of previous funding or grants
  • has the appropriate type and level of insurance for the activities that are the subject of this grant
  • is in one of the Local Government Areas designated by State or Commonwealth Government as bushfire impacted by the 2019/2021 bushfires.
